Manchester Marathon 2018

Today was the Manchester marathon, and a perfect running day. Overcast, cool, and unusually for Manchester - no rain. It's a decent flat route through south Manchester, and lovely in terms of the fact that it's a local race.
I enjoyed racing, the crowds, and the atmosphere of a big racing event. Am thrilled with my finishing time of just under 3:53: nowhere near a pb, but faster than I had hoped for. Thank you Manchester.

Always inspiring

I am truly in awe of the expeditions and experiences that Sir Ranulph Fiennes has undertaken.... He is my biggest hero in the Endurance world.
