Arrived in the lakes to start preparing for tomorrow's race. Stunning. Very hot, it's going to

be a hot race I think. How lucky to be here.

Lakeland trails 100k

Next week, I get to go up to Ambleside for this year's Lakeland Trail 100 k event. I completed this a few years ago, and really enjoyed it. A midnight start makes it quite special: the opportunity to run in the Lakes cannot be missed. Very excited to be going, and hit the trails and hills.

Peak District Air

There is hardly anyone about. Quiet, still, peaceful, fresh. The reservoirs are quite low at the moment. This is supreme trail running training. I cannot bottle this running happiness.
